ABOUT ME

My name is Vy Tran, and I am currently a senior at Niles West High School. I'm currently enrolled in an independent research course called SIRS. The SIRS research course provides students a chance to solve real-world problems that are important to them. What I love about the class is that it challenges me to learn new skills and allows me to research something I'm passionate about. I've currently been in the class for 2 years and I plan to continue it for the rest of my high school career. Besides being in the SIRS course, I enjoy hobbies such as skating, playing guitar/creating music, film, and basketball. I am apart of many different clubs such as, theater, chemistry club, badminton club, PASA (Pan Asian Student Association), and I started my own club VSA (Vietnamese Student Association).
