Using Natural Remedies Against B.Cereus.

This project was my first in my high school career.

What did I use for the experiment?

Natural Remedies

The natural remedies I've used for this project is, ginger, garlic, and manuka honey. All contain anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory effects that can help improve the human body. All of these natural remedies can improve the body.

Synthetic Antibiotic

Synthetic antibiotics are hard to obtain, but a common one that is able to kill the bacteria/virus easily is called Vancomycin.

Bacillus Cereus

Bacillus Cereus is a common type of bacteria that is usually found in produce that grows in soil. Bacillus Cereus also known B. Cereus,  affects the stomach and the bladder, with diarrhea and vomiting with high fevers that can send you to the hospital.

What is the purpose of this expierment?

Bacteria and viruses are getting too strong, and learning its way through and how to beat synthetic antibiotics (antibiotic resistance), showing that natural remedies could be a better way to go through bacteria and viruses. Antibacterial resistance is when the bacteria/viruses develop a way to defeat the synthetic antibiotics/drugs. Now that bacteria and viruses are evolving and becoming “smarter” and evolving to have this resistance towards antibiotics. The way that natural remedies could be more effective is that the chemicals that are already in the remedies, are healthier ways. Such as the presence of hydrogen peroxide in honey, which gives honey strong antibacterial fighting properties

Here is a video explination.
